Description
For those who value durability as much as performance, the Vector 2900 is a center console to be taken seriously. Hydra-Sports has always built a solid boat, and recent years have seen many of the company’s high-quality products ascend to the upper ranks of big-water fishing rigs. Cockpit features of the 2900 include a transom rigging station with sink, foldaway rear seat, three insulated fish boxes, and lockable rod storage. A lighted, 55-gallon Kodiak livewell (with rounded corners because some bait fish can’t stay alive in a rectangle) is behind the helm, and the box across the transom is designed to serve as a second livewell, fishbox, or storage box. The helm has dash space for flush-mounting two 10" video display screens. The list of standard equipment is impressive on this boat and includes a factory hardtop with electronics box, rocket launchers, and spreader lights. A roomy, walk-in console compartment contains a portable toilet, sink, and hand-held shower. Note that the windshield surrounds the entire helm—sweet. With 300 gallons of fuel capacity, the 2900 has the range to roam far offshore and stay there until the fish boxes are full
