Don't miss out on this cold-molded Carolina express sportfish with a single Cummins 540hp QSC designed by Jesse Rhodes. Built in Charleston, SC by Dixon Boatworks, there is centerline helm pod with a Stidd helm chair, hardtop above has flush mount pancake teaser reels, and a recently new G&G enclosure. The OSPREY has been kept on boatlift and has a modest but useful, air-conditioned cabin below with enclosed head/shower, galley, and V-berth with filler panels, plus an Onan generator. She will make an economical 27mph cruise and the bow thruster makes handling around the dock easy. Tower has controls and there are recently fresh belly band and bench seat cushions. A pair of spreader outriggers and a center rigger and rod holders on the aft hardtop and rear tower legs, plus a transom fish box and a livewell behind the helm seat. Aft facing, cushioned bench seat is just to starboard of the helm. The 4-blade prop is in a pocket on her bottom allowing shallow water comfortable 3'3" draft. Inside there is a V-berth forward with overhead hatch and two filler sections to make a full berth when wanted with a digital thermostat for the A/C on the side. A mini-galley has microwave oven, sink, and refrigerator with modest cabinets and a small settee across on the portside.
Entry to the cabin from the bridge deck is through a lockable teak and glass hinged door with a sliding forward top. There is a L-shaped settee to the portside as you step down into the cabin. There are two shallow depth cabinets above and outboard of the settee and a wall mounted directional lamp. At the rear side of the settee is a stainless door Magic Chef mini fridge with freezer section on top. At the forward end and beneath the settee is an extra storage cabinet.
Across from the settee is the Galley area with a Corian Countertop and an inset stainless-steel sink with chrome faucet. Beneath are a couple of cabinets and includes a fire extinguisher. To the outboard side and above is a stainless-steel front GE microwave /convection oven framed with teak trim. Just below it is a storage cubby shelf and above is a wall mounted directional lamp.
Just forward of the Galley is the teak and plexiglass door which opens to the head where there is a Raritan electric flush toilet and a shower wand with wall mount. This compartment is finished with white painted walls and has a rubber mat sole with drain to grey water sump box below.
This boat has a cold-molded WEST system hull which is painted Fighting Lady yellow with green boot stripe and bottom paint. The bottom has a pocket to accommodate an I-strut and 4-blade Nibral prop, which allows a shallow draft of approximately 3 feet 3 inches. The chine has an extended lifting rail and the bow has the distinctive Carolina flare, the transom with the attractive tumblehome styling. There is deadrise on the bottom at the transom, a notably good offshore ride for her length. There is also a Tow Eye just below the spray rail which extends up to the bow. The foredeck is non-skid finished and has notable crown shaping with a white toe rail which breaks at the bow where there is a hawse pipe with anchor rode and two fairleads. Line hawsers are on the transom for docking and stainless pop-up cleats are midship and on the bow. Cockpit sides have a splash rail and on the transom is a receiver for an Armstrong-style swim ladder (stored in the engine room). Cockpit has teak covering boards and coaming panels with six flush mounted rod holders. Aft in center is a transom fishbox. Beneath the hinged lids of the fishbox are Starboard cutting board surfaces. Cockpit deck is non-skid finished and there is a roto-cast step box. Beneath the side coverboard are sliding door compartments for gaff/brush pole/general storage and there is a washdown hose on the portside. Also, electric reel plug outlets are beneath the coverboard as well as the transom cleats. On the forward side of the cockpit a circular live-bait well is just behind the helm chair. To the starboard side are two top opening storage boxes with moon spring keepers and below two doors open to a tackle storage area with Plano box shelfs.
