Inara Yachts – Yachts for Sale & Charter
CATCH, a remarkable 87’ (26.60m) Yachtfish, stands out not only for her size and craftsmanship but also as one of the few yachts constructed by the prestigious Feadship. After an extensive winter refit at Feadship in Amsterdam, she was proudly relaunched in May 2023, marking a new chapter in her storied history. Originally delivered as Gallant Lady in 1984, she later took on the name Patriot before ultimately being rebranded as CATCH.
Her most recent refit has resulted in a comprehensive transformation, including a full repaint that revitalized her exterior and ensured she turned heads on the water. The foredeck received new teak decking, providing both aesthetic appeal and functional luxury, while the exterior wood features were meticulously revarnished to enhance their natural beauty. The main deck veneer was updated for a modern look, and upgraded LED lighting was installed throughout, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. To enhance guest comfort and enjoyment, a stylish sun awning was added, providing shade for those relaxing on deck.
With these extensive upgrades, CATCH is not only a beautifully appointed vessel but also one that offers enhanced performance and comfort for her guests and crew.
Key Features
Boarding to the cockpit – port or starboard, on her custom boarding system the intricate details begin. Natural teak cap rails and teak decks along with a varnished teak transom and varnished teak bulkheads give an immediate elegant feeling. Complete with all the necessary equipment to fish or entertain, nothing has been overlooked in its stunning design, which is elegant, clean and practical.
A raised, covered observation deck allows guests front-row viewing when battling that
tournament winner or for comfortable aft deck entertaining. With a 4-person bench seat and a wet bar with a fridge box to port. 2x7" Garmin Displays repeaters have been placed in the overhead above the bench giving guests information like wind, speed, and depth. Storage for the sunshade stainless steel poles and boarding ladder can be found under the seating area.
As you enter the salon from the mezzanine seating on the starboard quarter, you are
immediately struck by the 360 degrees of windows, allowing natural light and great vistas, all of which can be hidden by the push of a button, as the custom electric blinds quietly obscure the outside world. The blend of classic teak wood joinery combined with rich fabric creates an atmosphere of classic luxury and comfort. All loose furnishings have been replaced throughout the vessel.
When entering the salon, you may not even notice the galley, which is designed to “hideaway” into the low-profile satin teak cabinetry, port, and forward, under the windshield. This allows for an open and integrated salon living area while adding functionality and flow of the vessel’s accommodations. However, do not be mistaken, this is a thoroughly updated and modern galley with new appliances.
Forward down the guest companionway is the spacious Owner's Stateroom. The traditional elegance, comfort, and special attention to detail of the yacht are continued in the master cabin. A queen island berth is easily accessible from either side. A spacious wardrobe provides ample storage for clothing and has a full-length mirror inside the door. The private ensuite head has plenty of room while onboard with a full stall shower.
Leading forward down the centerline stairway from the galley to port is the VIP Stateroom. This stateroom comfortably sleeps 3 with two twin berths, which can convert to a double berth, plus a Pullman berth that folds into the bulkhead. Access to the private en-suite head is also available in this cabin.
Opposite the VIP cabin, to starboard is another Guest Stateroom which doubles as a crew cabin. Featuring an over/under berth that comfortably sleeps 2 guests.
Access to a head with stall shower accessed across a vestibule which houses a full-size washer and dryer hidden behind doors. This head also acts as a “day head” for the salon, being at the bottom of the stairs from the salon.
Careful planning went into the redesign and layout of the interior to maximize the space for the current owner's use and their guests. The crew cabin is an over/under to starboard with closet and ample storage.
The pilothouse was completely redesigned in the major refit. This oversized bridge has an extremely elaborate “glass-bridge” electronics package that is enclosed in custom teak dropdown boxes. One Stidd helm chair, (2) L seats to port and starboard, and a large settee in front of the helm area allowing seating for more than (8) guests in the bridge. A great place to enjoy the 360° views while underway.
The centerline helm station is perfectly situated providing great all-around visibility and
comfort. Everything you need to take you safely to your next destination is at your fingertips but hides away when not in use, allowing this space to be used as an extra entertaining area.
Ergonomically designed for easy use, mixed with the style that only a Feadship can supply. All the instruments are laid out clearly and intuitively in an optimized space to offer maximum comfort while underway.
Aft of the enclosed pilothouse through centerline, double teak French doors is the upper outdoor seating. Equipped with two comfortable teak love seats to port and starboard providing another extraordinary place to relax and take in the sights. This deck also has two hidden, wing stations for easy docking and maneuvering in tight situations or positioning the yacht when a fish is on the line.
CATCH has a beautiful wide open foredeck that has been completely reteaked. Easy access to the bow from either port or starboard sides.
The engine room, accessed centerline from the cockpit, is beautifully detailed in keeping with the rest of the yacht, down to the high polish diamond plate flooring with a spare set of powder-coated plates for when maintenance is carried out.
The engine room has been incredibly planned and laid out with plenty of room for routine maintenance. Most systems have been re-built or upgraded with special care and attention made for extra soundproofing and vibration dampening making for extraordinary sound reduction.
A rare opportunity to purchase a superlative yacht in absolute turn-key condition must be seen to be appreciated. Considered a "Gentleman’s Yachtfish," CATCH is a versatile and stunning yacht that has been incredibly refitted by experienced yachtsmen. CATCH undoubtedly stands out everywhere she travels, with her flawless styling, quality construction, and incredible versatility – a true gem!
